Pressure makes the shape visible.

  1. 01

    Start with friction we can name.

    The first three projects began inside daily work: capturing speech, managing several terminal sessions, and turning Markdown into a usable workspace.

  2. 02

    Keep the important work close.

    Dictator runs transcription models on the Mac. UltraTerm keeps sessions alive through tmux. Retex stores its working data in ordinary Markdown.

  3. 03

    Open source needs a clean door.

    A public repository should build, explain its licenses, and show contributors where their time can help. Each first project now has its own source and license.

  4. 04

    Earn permanence through use.

    We prefer a smaller tool that survives a year of real work over a broad launch that leaves no reason to come back.
